In delivering our services, we follow certain principles, practices and frameworks defined by others.
Philosophies
Here is a brief description of the principles, practices and frameworks that we follow when delivering our services.
Agile Manifesto
The Agile Manifesto is what we believe defines what it means to work agile, to have an agile way of working. It is a set of principles.
It was created in the early 2000s by a number of advocates and representatives of systems development approaches.
We work according to the Agile Manifesto when we take overall responsibility for a delivery, such as when we set up an agile team for Low Code Development [1] and of course in Agil Coaching [2].
Scrum
Scrum is considered a framework, but there is a lot of software development philosophy built into Scrum. It focuses on the way a team of two to nine people develops software.
The framework was developed in the 1990s by Jeff Sutherland and Ken Schwaber. Since then, many people and organisations have contributed to the development of Scrum.
We believe that the Scrum Guide defines what Scrum is. In addition to the Guide, there are many tools and practices that complement it. When we take overall responsibility for a delivery, in the form of an agile team [1], we work according to Scrum.
